Customs Intercept 13 Containers Of Tramadol At Tin Can

The Nigeria Customs Service, Tin Can Island Command, on Friday announced it had intercepted 11 40-foot containers and two 20-foot containers of Tramadol.

While announcing the seizure to journalists in Lagos, the Deputy Controller-General in charge of the Enforcement, Austin Chidi, who represented the Controller-General, Col. Hameed Ali (rtd.) , listed other pharmaceutical products, including Ciprofloxacin capsules, Diclofenac sodium tablets, Soffeathe I.V cannula, Sildenfil citrate tablets among the drugs seized.

He put value of the total items , including bleaching soaps and used clothing at N3.13bn.

This is the third consecutive seizure of Tramadol recorded within one week between Wednesday , November 21 and Friday November 23rd, 2018.
