Former President, Goodluck Jonathan , has asked vice president Yemi Osinbajo to be more concerned over his indictment by the House of Representative in the N5.8B he approved for the National Emergency Agency, NEMA , without due process , than his (Jonathan) sojourn in office. Jonathan , in a statement by one of his aides , Reno Omokri , was reacting to the vice president's claims that his government saddled the country with debt and alleged corruption of his administration. The statement read: "My attention has been drawn to the regurgitated and discredited allegations by vice president, Yemi Osinbajo blaming former president Jonathan of saddling Nigeria with debts and running the economy by the alleged corruption of his administration". "How can  vice president Yemi Osinbajo , a man who had just been indicted by the House of Representatives in one of the biggest corruption scams ever in Nigeria's history , have the gall to point accusing fingers at Dr.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has alleged that the Buhari-led administration and the APC have procured frivolous court orders from compromised judicial officers to liqiudate bank accounts belonging to their party and their critical stakeholders, perceived to be against the President’s re-election bid. In a statement released by its national publicity secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, the party said it is aware of how instructions have been given to certain agencies of government to trail and throw up fabrications in order to create an impression of financial infractions around the said accounts. President Muhammadu Buhari is currently in Paris for the Paris Peace Forum on November 10th, delivered an address on "Illicit Financial Flows & Corruption: The Challenge of Global Governance". The president's speech was at the opening ceremony of the event , which has over 70 world leaders and governments in attendance, was held at the Grande Halle de la Villette. However, former minister of aviation , Femi Fani-Kayode has faulted the Buhar's speech at the forum.
