Back in the day eh, the only subject that could actually turn a broad day light to a mid night is mathematics. I wonder where the teacher of this subject got his questions from..Lol

Director-General of National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) Ishaq Modibbo-Kawu disclosed this on Tuesday in Port Harcourt at the opening of the 71st General Assembly of Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON) Giving the breakdown, Modibbo-Kawu  said that the president approved 147 new FM radio licences; 23 DTT Television licences , 3 new national radio network licences and 2 national television licences. He said the commission had also received presidential approval for 16 campus radio stations; 24 community broadcasters and 3 public organisations FM licences. The Director-General said the total of 213 licences were the single largest number of stations ever licensed at any point in Nigeria Broadcasting history. Oprah Winfrey's Mum Vernita Lee Has Been Confirmed Dead And Buried

Oprah's niece , Alisha Hayes , posted that Vernita  Lee died on Thanksgiving Day. The family has confirmed the death and also confirmed a private funeral has already been held. Vernita was born in 1935 in segregated Mississippi. She met Vernon Winfrey and they gave birth to Oprah in 1954. Vernita is survived by Oprah and Patricia Amanda Faye Lee and grandchildren Alisha Hayes, Chrishaunda Lee Perez, Aquarius Lofton and Andre Brown, as well as great - grandchildren Jaxon Praise Perez, Chai Theresa Perez, Donovan Hayes and Trinity Hayes. Memorial donations in Vernita's name can be made to Feeding America (feedingamerica.org.) Vernita was 83. May her soul rest in peace.
